Article Types
Bank and Policy publishes peer-reviewed scholarly articles in the fields of banking, finance, economics, public policy, and governance. The Journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
1. Empirical Research Articles
Original studies based on primary or secondary data, clearly structured into Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Discussion.
Length: 5,000–10,000 words
Abstract: 200–350 words
Language: English
2. Literature Review Articles
Critical and integrative reviews, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses, identifying gaps and future research directions.
Length: 5,000–7,500 words
Abstract: 200–250 words
Language: English
3. Theoretical Articles
Conceptual and theory-driven contributions that develop, refine, or critically assess theories relevant to the journal’s scope.
Length: 5,000–7,500 words
Abstract: 200–250 words

4. Methodological Articles
Papers presenting new or improved research methods or analytical approaches; empirical data may be used for illustration only.
Length: 4,000–5,000 words
Abstract: 200–250 words
Language: English
5. Book Reviews
Critical evaluations of recently published scholarly books relevant to banking, finance, and public policy.
Length: Maximum 6 pages
Abstract: Not required
